Click on the hyperlinks below to see some personification poems we’ve been writing. (If you click on the hyperlink, it will open in a new window).
Why don’t you read some and leave a comment for the poet at the bottom of the screen. (Remember, you don’t need full punctuation, etc. in informal emails & comments, but you do need it in formal emails. Also remember, though, that good punctuation makes it more readable.)
- Which is your favourite?
- What do you like and what don’t you like about their work?
- Could you improve it?

i like Emily’s the best, the one about the rope swing because the description was so intense andi felt like i was actually there.I think she could improve it by using a little more personifcation and figureative language in it.All in all it’s a great poem and it has really inspired me.
’till next time
